Touching The Rim??
When shooting the last free throw (not an intentional or technical) is the ball required to touch the rim in order for the ball to remain in play. I thought so, and as best as I can recall all my partners have called it that way as well. When it happens I've been giving the ball to the non-shooting team for a throw in.
9-1-4 says that the free throw restrictions apply until the ball touches the rim or backboard .... Have I been kicking this call? |
