two man mechanics

I don't do much high school two man anymore and any travel, feeder, AAU ball which is two man can be a little sloppy which leads me to the question on a foul called by lead going the other way are the mechanics the same as 3 man? Simply step out report and return to andminister throw in?

Yeh, I know, I could look it up, but enjoy the discourse.

I believe the NFHS mechanic is to switch on ALL fouls.

the "official" mechanics are to switch on all fouls in two-person.

What is actually done might be different.

Correct, Bob, as we have stated in Texas, we switch on shooting fouls only. Not to say that some may switch at other times if it is prudent to positions on the floor at the time, but rarely.

That's what I thought. I don't mind either way, just want to be consistent with partner to look sharp.

My book is down in the car so I'm going off memory, but I thought there was at least one exception to the "switch on all fouls." If the Trail calls a common foul on B1 fouling A1, before the bonus, and ball is going to be put in tableside in what would be the Trail's primary anyway, then the trail will put the ball in play in front of the table after reporting the foul. Lead stays in lead.

The Constitution State

CONNECTICUT MECHANICS:
Point to floor for two-point field goal try.
.No long switches when foul is called in the backcourt and there is no change of possession or direction
Team members are not allowed to congregate at midcourt during introductions.
Coaching Box must be marked. If home coach and/or home management refuse to designate coaching box
with tape, the home team will not use a coaching box for that game. However, the visiting team will be
allowed a coaching box. Notify Board Secretary or Commissioner the next day.
