new mechanics
For us anyway, we are using 5 man. In the past, wing men bust up field with the reciever. Now it is hold ground at LOS until pass is released. All good if we got a 6 or 7 man crew, with a 5 lets leave the BJ to handle it all???We were working this ayt a scrimmage saturday, who wants a DPI called by wingman 20 yards away?? Nobody wanted to do it.....comments???

I'm not sure about holding your ground at LOS until the pass is released. The manual says to move downfield 5 to 7 yards to be in position to cover the short passes. I am probably guilty of not restricting myself to only 5 to 7 yards. I guess if you get too far downfield you don't have the short sideline passes boxed in and may not be in position to rule on the catch as the receiver's back would be toward you, U might be blocked by the defender and R has not turned his attention yet in that direction.
