Bench personel

Had a unique sit happen a couple nights ago and the question of when does a player become bench personel? I call a offensive push foul and before I can present to the table this guy slams the ball on the court and the other official calls a T. The issue is this, my foul is his 5th, the T turns out to be his sixth. When does this guy become bench personel? the moment he gets his 5th? or after the coach has been notified of the player's 5th foul. With the T maybe being on bench personel, the coach would have had an indirect and therefore we would have invoked the seatbelt rule.

The player becomes bench personnel the moment you tell the coach that he has fouled out of the game. If the coach was not notified, you cannot give the coach an indirect T on this action of bouncing the ball out of anger.

Peace

That's what it says in the definition of a disqualified player.

4-14-2 . . . A player is officially disqualified and becomes bench personnel when the coach is notified by an official.
