Uniforms

During warm ups, the Officials note that both teams are wearing white jerseys. What is the ruling?

By my understanding, the ruling is Home team wears white. The visitors either change uniforms or buy their way in with T's. However, IMO, if the visiting team can not change and home team is willing to, I believe you should be able to proceed without penalty if both coaches are agreeable....

Usually the changing is going to come from the home team. I am not sure many visiting teams bring multiple uniforms unless there is a tournament or shootout of some kind.

The reason for this rule was to help with two teams showing up with similar color uniforms. I would not penalize a home team for trying to create a contrast in color. Common sense has to prevail.

Peace

Of course you can always have them play shirts and skins. At least, with some teams you can.

With all the Staph infections going around, I am sure that would not be a good idea.

Peace

You could put numbers on the skins team with a staple gun.

Exactly. And, while I'll have the home team change so that the game can be played, I'll charge the visitors with the Ts for wearing the wrong jerseys (with perhaps some exceptions like a tournament where it's unclear who is the H and the V; or the equipment bag was stolen, etc.)

We had this happen in a recent MS girls game. The visiting A team wore their visiting blue, but their B team wore white. Luckily, our B team had both sets of unis so we switched to Blue for the B game.

We visit them at the end of the year, and I'm tempted to tell our coach not to change unis if the other team decides to wear blue at home, just so they can get T'd up if they decide to do this again.
