Yesiree, you're correct.
It's as simple as 4-43-5. A player holding the ball: May not touch the floor with a knee or any other part of the body other than hand or foot. Note the rule doesn't say a word about a pivot foot being established. If he's holding the ball and falls to the floor, he's traveled.
