Hey, it's hard to pitch when you've got both hands firmly around your own neck.

I tell 'ya, it's been all downhill since the Shania Twain incident.

So, what's the scoop with Moose? Is he done for good? Or just done in NY?

He'll get another start in a week or two, no matter how the young kid-Kennedy- coming up does on Saturday. They owe him that. Personally, methinks that he's reached his past-due date. Iirc, he's got another year on his contract at around 12 mil though. Silly monkeys.

Speaking of the Indians: their 6th win in a row came last night on a bases-loaded, walk-off walk. In the inning they had a hit, a hit batter, and two walks. Thank you, Rick White.

Now, 6 games with the White Sox and the Twins. Can the Tigers keep up? Inquiring minds want to know...

Bombederman finally got a win.
Rogers may try again.
Verlander is concentrating better
Robertson is stronger.
Zumaya seems good

The schedule looks easier for the Tigers, than for the Indians.
Seattle lookes like they are crumbling.
The Yankees are the Yankees.

The Tigers need help to win the division. The wildcard slot is lost.

Hmm...about a week or two ago, they were 4 back.

Now they're 5 back.

Were you talking to Tampa Bay fans?

This time last year weren't we 20+ over .500 ?

Need a 23-5 run just to match last year!

If they can just put the wins together, and sweep the last 3 with the tribe, the standings should take care of themselves.

I predict a division win with a 89-73 record for the Tiggers!

We? WE?
Coach maybe you did, but I didn't play last year.
[...Fanboys. ]

Tigers just brought up minor leaguer [Virgil Vasquez, Mudhen] to start tonight's game. Sent Chad Durbin down. Good.

If they keep losing to the A's, sweeping the Indians won't do the trick. 5.5 games back this morning...

You gotta feel sorry for the White Sox: beating the Indians 5-2 with 2 outs in the bottom of the eighth. Next thing you know, they've given up six runs and then gone 1-2-3 in the ninth to lose. It's their season in microcosm.

Now that they've officially gone 20 games under .500, the White Sox have left the American League. Their next game is in Sheep Dip Hollow, Idaho (a real town, BTW) against the Sheep Dip Uncledaddies.

Here's their mascot:

And it's only a few hundred miles from Boring, Oregon (again - a real town). And please, no wise cracks about thinking all the towns in Oregon are boring - we've heard them all. Besides, Oregon isn't boring, it's just wet. If you really want a fun place to go, try here:
