PS Here's another example: the closer blows a three-run lead in the 9th, yet gets the win when his team pushes one across in the bottom of the inning.
Baseball needs to change this scoring rule.

Yup. That's the way it is.

Same thing if your starting pitcher gives up 1 run, the reliever gives up 5, but your team loses 6-5. If his team never regained the lead, starting pitcher gets the loss.
