Carrie Underwood's falsetto in the National Anthem made my spine tingle.
I think the Rockies should get rid of those black shirts and vests.

I didn't know that. Sorta like the plate ump gets to pick a color ?

Again, I can't say I'm enjoying it, but it's a pretty good game tonight.

Always wondered how that was determined with half a dozen MLB colors nowadays.

Any idea why (almost) no one wears the plate coat anymore?

A couple insurance runs late and the Sox win again. Ellsbury and Pedroia each get 3 hits. I think they said it's the first time two rookies had 3 hits in the same World Series game. Bodes well for tomorrow and next season, as well. 10 down, 1 to go.

Yeah, right!

That's called false empathy. All of us who have true empathy can spot the difference right away.

Someone is buying and selling them, Mark. Not hard to find.
The folks on the baseball forum talk about 'em
You can get the Gerry Davis coat for ~$100.00/lb.

I typed that when it was still a 1-run game after Holliday's HR. A one-run lead is not enjoyable in Denver! If you had any real empathy in those hardened arteries, you'd know that. (Does empathy flow through the arteries? )

Sounds painful. Isn't that procedure something like an enema? Oh wait, is the angioplasty forced, or the empathy?

Speaking of the Red Sox.... yawn....I can't imagine how abysmal the ratings for the Series overall will turn out to be.

Just be thankful that the person who did the procedure was a qualified, highly-recommended empathiologist. I've heard there's not a better one in the country!

I could. However, since I don't ump baseball, I'd look a bit weird walking down the street wearing one, especially if I had numbers sewn onto it.

I believe that you're referring to something completely different(and completely irrelevant also) than to what I was referring to.
