BTW, JR, the actual game clock, despite starting late, can be seen on the video running all the way down from 6.6 to 0.0 while the ball is still in the net. What does that tell you? Do you still think that Lamont Simpson's timing of 6.0 was correct or did the play really take longer than that?

Yes, until or unless I hear something to the contrary issued from the proper and applicable NCAA authority, I think that I'll go with the official on the spot who had the use of a correct replay and a stopwatch to make a decision. I think that Simpson's version is a little more credible than taking the version of some ESPN talking head or a fanboy watching it on tv. I'm funny like that, Nevada.

But hey, if you think that it's the modern-day version of the Zapruder tapes, knock yourself out.

The replays on SportsCenter are backing my opinion that this was a missed travel. They are even putting number graphics on the screen for the steps. It is rather blatant.

"West Virginia fans will forever lament the uncalled travel on Edgar Sosa at the end of regulation in the double-OT loss to Louisville that sent the Mountaineers to the NIT."

The WV fans really ought to be lamenting over the fact that Sosa went by all Mountaineer players without a touch to tie the game with a layup.

Hopefully they won't make the same mistake in the NIT.

Gollygee, Nevada, I sureasheck gotta apologize to you now. If someone from ESP-FREAKING-N said that a player traveled, well it certainly has to be true. I mean, ESP-FREAKING-N is noted world-wide as being the leading expert extant when it comes to basketball rules. I know that the NCAA always goes to ESP-FREAKING-N when they want a rules interpretation or something rules-related cleared up. And when that other noted officiating body, the West Virginia Fans, also agrees with ESP-FREAKING-N, well, there's really NO doubt that Sosa musta traveled.

Again, please accept my apologies for ever doubting ESPN, the WV fans and you. I mean, what could be more credible than the three of you?

Here's the last minute of play. Not good quality or that it matters anymore, but we all like looking at tape.
