Sure it might happen....but in all likely hood, that 5-11 team from the ACC or SEC would likely thump Vermont. To suggest otherwise is particularly silly. Sure, exceptions do happen but why penalize a team for being in 1 of the 2 toughest conferences in the land. In fact, the SEC is full of teams around .500 this year. They're so close, the've been beating each other almost at ramdom. Does this necessarily make them all bad? No...it just means that they're similar.
