Bottle thrown from the stands

Last night Boys varsity game. A bottle was thrown from the crowd of visiting team toward an official and onto the floor. This was during the first OT after a call that went against the visitors.

The officials, I thought were not too concerned. After a brief visit with the visitors coach, the game resumed. The kid who throw the bottle got up and left the gym. The on-site administrators were slow to get over the scene. But eventually got there.

T or no T. There was no T call on the visiting team.

Home team fans wanted the T. Obviously. I think that it was handled the proper way. What do you think?

No "T"

From where I sit, I got no "T". I am not certain exactly who threw the bottle. I think the visit to the coach, maybe both of the coaches, was a good idea.

If you knew who threw the bottle, have them removed and get on with the game.

Do not give Ts for the actions of one stupid fan. For all you know the fan could have been from the home team. Get the fan that threw the object out of the gym. Clean up the mess if there is one. Then move on and play the game from that point. I have no problem with what the crew did and this is what I would have done as well. I would also probably make an announcement from the PA announcer to the fans that this behavior would not be tolerated.

Peace
