How would you handle this?
We have had several threads over the last couple weeks about the clock starting late and so on at the end of the game. We never talked about the clock starting early. Case in point-- Team is down 2 with .6 to go. Throw in under their basket. Ball is thrown in beyond everyone and goes untouched, not OOB and the horn goes off. Then the defensive team touches it after the horn. I know that we can't do "do-overs", but the timer has clearly made a mistake. I have looked in both NF and NCAA rules books, and can't find a case play for this. What would you do? Any help with the books would be beneficial as well?

5-10-1 and/or 2-NFHS-Order .6 seconds back on the clock and the ball goes to the other team that did not inbound the ball @ the original oob.. The game is not over until the final score has been approved and ALL offcials leave the playing area. 2-2-4
