I wear black Nike Kobe Ones and Air Max Elites I customized on Nike ID. I like Nikes, but I guess I also have a problem with a little vanity; I think most Reeboks, New Balance and patentl leather shoes are ugly although the NB 610s look OK. I also like the way high tops allow my pants to fall over my shoes correctly. There is no way I would wear any low tops that have that little thing on the back. It might be useful for putting the shoes on, but it causes the pants to hang up and it doesn't look good. What can I say, I also get my buttons on my pants changed to black.

Hey, I forgot my shoes once and didn't have my backup bag in my trunk so I had to wear my partner's Bates combat boots and he wears 2 sizes smaller than me.

A few years ago when I was still in the military I did the same thing but luckily I had my own Bates.

For those who don't know, Bates makes rubber-soled combat boots that are gym floor safe

New Balance 621's.
And for what it's worth, patent leather sneakers are just wrong!
I don't know who first thought of them but if you want to wear shiny shoes, be a cop.

Try the New Balance 610 High Gloss. Nice shoe, looks good, great support. It has a nice shine, not a patent shine. I have worn New Balance for the last 6 years. Buy one new pair every year and work them in with last years pair. They seem to hold up well. I do about 70 games a season.

I know for a fact that Tanner brings the right half to the game.
The others are left.

I still have my Conversve patent leathers that still look good after about 5 years. Since they still look good, I keep wearing them, but I beef them up with Dr.Scholls about every other mouth. I even blew the ball of the shoe out in a camp and Dr.Scholls pads corrected that. This is my everyday regular varsity contest shoe.

For the bigger games, I have the Officials Choice shoe which they don't make anymore. This by far is the best looking referee shoe I've ever seen and it has the comfort I love because it's a mid-top. I only break these out for special occassions. I have had them for 2 years now and they still look new. What a shame they dropped this product.

I have a pair of regular New Balance I purchased several years ago for my less than varsity assignments. I fix them up with Leather Luster and they take a nice shine. They are comfortable but my feet hurt afterwards and I'm not sure if that's the shoe or the fact of running so many games in a row.

Try to purchase your patent leather shoes in the summer, the price is cheaper than. I got both my patent leather shoes for haft price, $30.00 when I bought them and I absouletly love them. Maybe it's just because of what I paid for them....

Don't feel bad. I've been known not to finish.
