All of our games here in Oregon occur during our annual rain festival, which runs from January through December each year.

We had a very popular governor, Tom McCall, who promoted the motto: "Oregon, please come visit but don't stay".

Actually, our favorite bumper sticker here is "Don't Californicate Oregon".

Reminds me of what some folks say about Minnesota: that they've got July 15 and winter.
