refresher test question #9

question states;while A1's is in the act of shooting, B2pushes A2 into A1. A1 continues the motion and scores.Team A is in the bonus. The manner of B1s foul is not intentional.Official charges B2 with a personal foul, counts the basket and awards A2 a one and one, is the official correct.....in addition to that is there a foul on B2 on A1 for pushing A2 into A1.......

I would say that answer is NO.... B2 did not commit a foul on A1

No way, you have a foul for the push on B for pushing A2 but there was no contact between A1 and B so where is that foul.
You can not defend that call.

The offical is correct.

There's only one foul charged to B1 as he only fouled one player, A2.

Agreed, and the basket counts as per rule 6-7-7 & EXCEPTION(c).
