Test Question
Hers one.....A-5 coming off a screen, receives the ball. As A-5 is in the act os shooting, official blows whistle and charges A-3 for blocking. A-5 shoots and scores. Official disallows basket. Is the official correct???
Now my question is .....Wouldn't it depend on whether or not he had released the ball yet??? Thanks in advance |

Also Madness, check your test, but many times, the test-makers tell you the "in the act of shooting" means that the ball is still in the shooter's hand. It's ususally printed up at the top of the test somewhere.

Nevermind, I think I have answered my own question. 6-7 Exception Foul by teammate - ball must be in flight in order to count. Foul by opponent - player must be in act of shooting (ie, the trying motion must have started) in order to count. Correct? Last edited by Kajun Ref N Texas; Thu Oct 12, 2006 at 12:41pm. |
