Guys - Thanks for all the replies and advise. Here's my plan...I'm going to go ahead and wear my glasses and let the chips fall where they may.

I do believe my reputation as a "decent" official should help

I'll let you all know how this plays out when the season get rolling. Thanks again for the advise and encouragement
