Sox win second straight 1-0 game against the Royals. That sounds like good news, but it worries me just a little. Some Putz got the save against the Yankees.

I love day baseball. :)

You're only saying that because that's what's causing all of A-Rod's problems, right?

There's apparently some story in one of the NY papers that is trashing him because he was seen sunbathing with his shirt off in Central Park the afternoon before his 17 errors and 9 strike-outs (or however many there were) against Seattle. At least the 1st base umpire helped out the Yankees that game. (I think I just heard Rocky's head explode.)

The Chicago Tribune had the same basic story today. Methinks that there\'s nuthin\' much to it. Hell, the guy did win an MVP last year; you don\'t unload him just for having a bad stretch. The other part of it too is that A-Rod is getting about $27 mil a year for the next 4 years, but Texas is paying around $52 mil total of that. That means the Yanks only have to pay him about 14 mil a year. If they replace A-Rod with a top-flight free agent like Soriano or trade for Abreau, they\'re still gonna be on the hook for about the same kinda money but they aren\'t really upgrading their ballclub imo.

The Yanks need pitching, not hitting.

The Cubbies need......:D

Yer funny....

How many games do you predict Ozzie will get for yesterday\'s little fooferoo in Texas? My guess is minimum 5 games- maximum 10 games.
