A couple of links from Indy

Final Four is in town, I read a couple ref stories in the paper. I thought I'd share the links for those inclined.

Short write up about the guy who hosts the refs for the final four. I didn't realize it when I first posted this, but it is a journal for today that will be updated throughout the day. The ref part is at the bottom under the subheading "9:30 - Herding Zebras"

Question and Answer with a Women's D II ref, nothing really earth-shattering here, but I saw this article as well and thought I'd share it too.

Thanks - good articles.

Now, if only the first one told us specifically which refs are in town...

But maybe sometimes we do see something that someone 50 rows up in the bleachers didn't see. People think, 'You've got three officials out there.' But not all three officials are watching the ball. We're all looking at different coverage areas, always moving.

Raise your hand if, before you became an official, you watched off ball. Anyone? Anyone?

I regularly watched off the ball... usually in the direction of cheerleaders. Does that count?
