Credit Where Credit Is Due
The "Most Misunderstood Basketball Rules" list that has been posted, with revisions, several times on this Official Forum web site, is my personal list. I developed this as an outline for a presentation that I was asked to make on misunderstood rules to a college level basketball coaching class. It is designed for players, coaches, and fans. It is not designed for new officials.
The "Official IAABO Board #6 Most Misunderstood Rules" list includes several of my rules and was edited by Board #6 members Peter Palermino and Dave Anderson. This list is designed to help train new officials. This "Official IAABO Board #6 Most Misunderstood Rules" list can be viewed on the "Official IAABO Board #6" web site: http://www.iaabo6.org/ Many times in the past, on this Official Forum website, I have given credit to the many Official Forum members who have helped me develop and revise the list over the past year: bossref, Hartsy, Jurassic Referee, Camron Rust, Mark Padgett, Nevadaref, Mark Dexter, Dan ref, mdray, Jimgolf, elecref, Assignmentmaker, IREFU2, and David M. At the end of this season, I will once again ask for additions, deletions, or revisions to this list, and, as usual, I will give credit where credit is due.
