I don't have a problem with going with BITS suggestion

But seriously I would explain 3 seconds...I can't stand hearing people call for 3 constantly.

I had a coach start calling for it immediately after the ball was inbounded...I said, "The ball wasn't even in play for 3 seconds." He looked confused... Oh well.
