What is an ACTUAL live ball? This emphasises the importance of knowing defintitions and not use incorrect terms.
For example; I hear officials say to a sub. next dead ball. Ding wrong answer for playing. It is next whistle. Dead balls occur all the time. Once the ball goes through the hoop on the score ball is dead. Plain and simple. Seems there can be no correction Clock ran, ball be came live, ball went dead, ball went live.
