I happen to have the Ohio State basketball game on and noticed their coach's name is Jake Deibler.

Is he related to the famous Deibler from days gone by who revolutionized basketball?

His brother Jon at Ohio state has 3 of three point school records and 2 other school records. His dad Keith Diebler was a long time coach that just retired a few years ago

One and the same. His dad was the long time boys' HC at Gibsonburg (Ohio) H.S. until he became the HC at Upper Sandusky H.S. he won the OhioHSAA Div. II State Championship with a 27-0 record.

Keith was a real fire brand on the sidelines and got his share of TFs but I never had a problem with him because the first time I had him was in a pre-season scrimmage in the 1986-87 school year and he started to go off on me and I shut him down before could get two sentences out of his mouth. He never gave me a problem in all of the games I had with him after that and in one game he shut down his AC before I could when his AC started to go off on me.
