Scoring Error

I cant see how this would get missed, assuming it was missed, at a D1 college game. There's an army of people at the table at these games. Surely someone would of had a discrepancy? Unless the ball went in(or appeared to) in an odd way or something else funky, there couldnt of been that many people asleep at the wheel?
Tried to find video but nothing I could find. |

The officials cannot reverse anything if they do not have the knowledge to change something. This is on the table and the school. Might have also helped if they had some direct information to give. Who knows, we are often at the mercy of the table and the participants to get them in check. But I am not keeping track of the score myself.
Peace

This would never happen in a high school game, especially at the lower levels. You'd have a full riot in progress if you dont have a point registered on the scoreboard within 2 seconds of it going through the hoop...

"The official should have handled it in the game is what I was told," Simon said.
Sounds like the official did handle it per NCAA rule. Surprised the visiting book didn't put up more of challenge at the time of the error. |

I once had a coach tell me (paraphrasing), "We try to score enough points each game, so one decision by an official [well, scorer in this case] will not make a difference to us."

Once had a fan helped us out with a questioned alternating possession arrow that had everybody (me, partner, table, coaches) but him flummoxed.

Conspiracy ...
Quote:
Is the NCAA intentionally hiding his, or her, name from the public? Is this a cover-up conspiracy? Did the scorekeeper also kill John F. Kennedy, and fake photographs of the Moon landing? The tar is warming up and the feathers are being collected (from my own backyard chickens), but we don't know who to tar and feather.
