Not an Anti-Dentite

Would this have happened had player complied with 3-5-8 MOUTHGUARD? With . . . "A tooth and mouth protector (intraoral)... including an occlusal portion and a labial portion...covering the posterior teeth with adequate thickness...protecting the anterior (leading) dental arch", the bitee would probably have been protected from the biter.
