I started late too...this will be my 20th season of HS ball. I'm 58.

When I can't beat the players to my spot at Lead, then it's time. I feel like I owe the game that.

I once worked with a "veteran" official who refused to accept the fact that his time had come. He was being overrun in transition by the Trail as he was trying to get to Lead...in a girls varsity game. It was embarrassing. I don't want to be "that guy".
