    I would say that if you have the money to spend, it is worth going. D1 camps are ran much differently than D2/NAIA/JUCO camps, & going before you are "ready" exposes you to 2 things-
    1. You learn how they operate, what they look for & get a better perspective of what you need to work on to make it to the next level.
    2. You get your name out there & it is a great opportunity to network. You can meet D1 officials & find a mentor or 2 to keep in touch with, review game film with etc.

    If you go one year, & then go back a few years later when you are ready to make the leap, you have a strong foundation of knowledge of what they look for & what it will take to get u on staff. The 1st camp I ever went to was a D1 camp, & then I went to a JUCO/NAIA camp & got hired on the first day. I think I got hired because I found out what guys are looking for at that D1 camp, & tweaked my mechanics, court presence etc. to that level. That is just my 2 cents though, so take it for what it's worth.
