He swung BOTH elbows right in front of the defender’s face. It wasn’t a basketball move. It was just to clear space and intimidate. My opinion is that it was dangerous and deserving of a F1 once the second elbow connected. I would have an elbow swinging violation without contact.

This was close to a cylinder play. I think nothing should have been called either. The elbows were tucked in as asked to be used and he is allowed to swing through. He did not measure the defender or go looking to hit him. I like the review and by rule they cannot just call a foul because.

Tough call on the elbow. Was the elbow outside his cylinder? I think there’d be an argument for that since the cylinder is normally about shoulder width. In a high school game with no replay, I’m going at least player control.
