State office? Game suspensions? Nothing handed down? This should be treated like any other situation involving someone attempting to shoot in place of another. Because they look alike is irrelevant as far as the rules are concerned. Would you request something to be "..handed down.." if they were simply teammates and did not look alike? I doubt it. And there are many things that happen in games that are not caught, some far more egregious than this and state associations are certainly not involved. This is in the news merely b/c it involved identical looking players. If they were neither twins nor triplets, etc., then this thread would have never been started.

Refs kicked it, plain and simple. Everyone wants to point fingers at the players. What about the refs that allowed an incorrect player to shoot free throws and it went undetected by the whole crew, including the table? Yikes!

State organizations and conferences can take actions in all kinds of ways when it is brought to the attention that some rules were violated or if something unethical took place. Again, if it is on tape, that can be penalized just like any other body takes actions. Kind of the same way the Patriots got in trouble for videotaping illegally or messing with air in a football. That is not an unusual action if they were to take some action. It appears it is being taught to violate those rules. And it is clear on tape this took place. I do not know why it could not be penalized after the fact. But now they are on notice.

Peace
