SC Official, I have no problem with the "sit" provision, which, along with turning off my hearing aid, takes care of whiny cheer coaches, as you point out. My problem is with the enforcement procedure.
First, why two bites of the apple, where safety is concerned? Second, who do you warn, who do you T? The cheerleaders and their coach? The basketball coach? Now the basketball coach starts to whine, "What do you want me to do? I'm busy coaching my kids, not the cheerleaders!" Simple: suspend play until the cheerleaders are properly, legally seated.
