Free throw situation
My buddy text me this one and I wasn’t 100% sure. A1 shooting first of a 1-1. While first try is in flight, A2 pushes B2. How to proceed?
I told him I think you clear the lane, shoot the 2nd and then it’s B ball, but I don’t have a lot of confidence in that. We checked the casebook and couldn’t find a relevant situation. |

If it's 1 and 1, the attempt in flight has to score in order to award A1 the second shot. In that case, the lane would be cleared. Play will resume in one two ways:
