It does look like his foot was down out of bounds while he was passing the ball back to his teammate. I did not catch that at first in real time, only once it was slowed down.

Same. Honestly I don't know how an official can do anything but make his best guess on a play that close.

Especially when the L has to look at the feet and then up to the hands. It's easier to see if you're farther away.

Like most calls that I'd make in my partner's primary, I have to feel 100% sure about it.

I'd like to say I've never missed an oob play, but this is one I probably would not have called.
