Past POE Archive

Someone a while ago stated they would have no way of knowing POE's from previous years because s/he is a new referee. FWIW, here's a link to a hastily compiled archive of past POE's from 2009/10 - 2016/17. This documented is unformatted at this point so it's more for study purposes than for posting anywhere.

Or --- you could just look at the first sticky on the basketball forums page here.

https://forum.officiating.com/basket...017-added.html

I think it goes back to 2001 or so (I didn't look).

Sticky ???

Can a moderator please make it a sticky thread, like the interpretations?

With all due respect to my friend Camron, I think it is really, really ,really bad that an official or coach cannot go to a specific NFHS place and find all rules/interps. etc that they expect me to call/know. I do not believe it would require every tree to be cut down or book be so big I couldn't carry it. NCAA does better job.

I maintain that they should maintain an MASTER Case book/interps that can be read online on Arbiter or on the NFHS website and purchased as an e-book or a paper book.

Nothing ever dies, if something in the rules or they decide a case play or interp is now invalid, it can still remain as a struckthrough or marked RESCINDED so we are not all wondering where it went or have lost our minds.

Oh, I agree that it would be nice to have a library of past publications, but it isn't that horrible of a thing for it to not exist.
