Reverse Suspenders

Anyone using suspenders, where did you get them from?

Here is the thread discussing:

https://forum.officiating.com/basket...rt-tucked.html

I did a Google Search and while interesting, I think Google and I are on a different page.

They're all over Amazon and eBay.

Not that I know of. This is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/Wesol-Distrib...rds=shirt+lock

Works really well. It will pill up the material it sticks to. I tuck my shirt into my tights then put this around my waist. It pills up the material on my tights. Not a huge deal. It also grips my pants so it keeps them up.

Get mine from military clothing sales and used them long before I ever refereed.

While I've used the velcro and rubber belts previously, I like the shirt stays better. I used to pull "a Welmer" a lot with the belts, but not as much with the shirt stays.

IMO, it's like court shoes, pants, etc., try several and settle with what you like.

I have worn several different pairs of these. I will tell you that I like these ones the best (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The clasps are not a cheap metal, but rather a high quality plastic with really good grip.

You may have to wear long spandex under your pants to prevent the clasp that connects to your socks from rubbing against your calf.

I have worn the straps that hook around the bottom of your feet and have had several times where they actually pop out behind your heel and then become ineffective. The good news is they are still under your pants so no one will see them.

No need in my view. Wear a good pair of tights and tuck the jersey into the tights. This actually works as well or better than those silly elastic or plastic inside belts.
