A few weeks ago, I showed up for a girls varsity game at a (luckily) nearby high school. I arrived at the site very early to observe the officials in the junior varsity game and I immediately noticed that a boys junior varsity game was going on. At may age, I can be forgetful, so no big deal, I'm working a boys game that night. Just before halftime of the junior varsity game, two (remember, this is two person Connecticut) varsity officials walk in. Sure enough, turns out that my girls game at that school was the next night.

I thought you were going to say you were at the wrong school.

Almost every time I get to a school for a game something creeps into my head to make me think I'm at the wrong place, so I grab my phone quickly to double-check my schedule.
