The New "Run the Endline" Signal

Can someone here demonstrate the proper performance of this signal?
From the appearance of it in the pamphlet, it looks like the ref would hold the ball with one hand, then with the other hand just wave it in front of his/her face (now you see me, now you don't) kind of motion--elbow bent and palms facing the ref

I would've thought it should be some kind of waving motion that is oriented towards the directional plane of the endline facing downwards--as opposed to upward and vertical--but then again maybe I am wrong?

Not sure how any of us can demonstrate the signal unless we post a video from YouTube or some other housing site. I will do what I did before and keep it moving. We are not robots, our signals are going to look a little different sometimes from another official.

Peace

I have always made this motion with my hand "up" (as opposed to pointing at the floor), and the motion is parallel to the endline.

(and, why is this in the "intentional foul" thread)?

Here is a situation that requires this new signal: New Signal #28 Required This Season

Here's an example of what your rendition of the new signal might look like: New Signal #28, Perhaps?

The same thing I did before with some movement of my arm back and forth.

Yes, the NFHS is just adopting a signal that officials had been doing for years.

Second this.

Also in the first video, it was viewable, Looks like the ball is passed out of bounds first (legally) and the clock starts early.

Solved. Forgot to change one from "Private" to "Unlisted." Both should be viewable now. For whatever they might be worth.

Freddy, interesting that in both examples you were able to find the ball being passed out of bounds among teammates. What generally is a rather rare case.
