If you are using continuous batting then you just skip the spot without penalty.
If you are batting 9 then put in a sub for him. If you don't have a sub then you only have 8 players then the game stops due to not having 9 players. There's no automatic out for an empty spot in LL rules.

And where was 6? Injured? Ejected? In the bathroom? On the bench but didn't want to bat?

Doesn't matter in LL. I posted the options for a LL rules game. You can't get an out for it.

Batting Order
Hey Blue,
At any level in baseball the batter has 10 seconds to be in the batters box.....if you determine the need you start calling strikes....reloading a fresh 10 seconds until you have an out if that is really go to happen it would be a first.... Remember.....judgment is more important than being a letter of the law type of umpire.... UtahGolf |
