Positive Motivation?

Johnson keeps winning. Johnson upsets No. 1-ranked C.C. Carroll - San Antonio Express-News. CC Carroll ranked fifth in the nation by MaxPreps baseball poll.

Johnson's rally, season ends on interference play - San Antonio Express-News

UIL should respond with further guidance. Chalk this up to learning experience. No need to bash up umpire. Just pointing how close the game was played by both teams and how rule affected play. Not sure who assigned two-person crew. Wondering why someone wasn't available to work as part of three-person crew.

The schools did not want to pay for 3 or 4 man?

It was TCUA, they had a three man crew for game one, then only a two man crew for games 2 and 3. Sorry, don't know any details on why they didn't have a full crew.

Is Johnson HS in San Antonio? Anytime you take down a team from Corpus Christi, it's quite an accomplishment. South HS in San Antonio usually aren't slouches either.

Yes Johnson is a new high school in the NEISD district. Opened up 4 years ago. The coach there is Gordon Geselle. He was previously at SA Madison for a long time. South San HS has not had the caliber of talent recently that they used to have, although this year the pitcher they had I heard was unhittable, just nasty breaking stuff.
