Dropped third strike

2 outs. Dropped 3rd strike.

BR starts walking toward the dugout.

How far can he go before he forfeits the right to run to first?

MLB

Cool

The edge of the dirt circle.

Unless you're playing in Cincinnati, apparently.

I got the $ 120 MLB thing and I haven't used it at all. Are you going to make me learn how to use it or will you post a link?

If the catcher starts toward him probably 1 step before he can be called out for a 3 foot violation.

Yeah... LOL. Love people at laugh at their own posts. Love it more when they are wrong.

The RUNNING LANE violation has to do with a play being made at first. 3-feet has to do with any tag attempt, anywhere on the field.

yes, and umpjim said he was gonna call the guy out for the 3' lane when the batter was just leaving the dirt circle... that rule 6.05k does not apply at that time..

Don't worry I KNOW im not wrong. ..LOL

No, he didn't. He said he would call him out for runing out of his baseline by 3' once the catcher started toward him to make a tag. Not 6.05(k) but 7.08(a).

If I'm worried about anything it's your reading skills. Where does Jim say "lane"??? He's talking about avoiding a tag. Not the Running Lane (which is not even in existence within 1 step of the plate --- which is where jim was referring to).
