Only a coach can do the weasel dance this well.

If you're trying to avoid confusing people, how about specifying FED rules when appropriate, not high school rules? In my state, as well as a few others, high school rules means OBR with a few modifications.

OK, this is ridiculous. I asked a straight forward question and got a straight forward answer. Thanks JM.

The rest of you enjoy arguing over nothing way too much.

Which rule book should we be arguing about? You didn't specify...

It's not a weasel - I try to educate and in doing so it's necessary to indicate that there are different rule sets. The BRD exists because there are so many differences.

Or do you prefer having coaches in the dark so you can riducule their lack of knowledge?

I prefer answering the question as it is asked.

I also prefer to giggle when coach/umpires screw up reading and try to cover their a$$ by appearing concerned for "lurkers".
