What I find interesting is that in addition to OBR, USSSA specifies National League yet they have re-entry and a DH which the National League does NOT use.

It's amazing that so many people think the American League and National League have different rules. They don't.

(pause for effect)

The DH is in the book for both. It is optional. The NL opts to not use it.

I've always (since the DH started) wondered what would happen if a NL manager tried to use a DH in a game.

There aren't even separate offices or officers any more for the NL and AL. I'm not sure if they're even separate entites in any form.
