Tagging base for an out
Hard hit ball to F3 who fields the ball. He runs to first, steps on first and then B1 and F3 collide on the base and the ball came loose.
I rules B1 out on the tag at first. The OC wanted a dropped ball and I stated that "At the instant F3 touched first base B1 was out that F3 only had to maintain possession until the tag of the base". The collision happened afterward and was a different action.

Yup, on a force play you can tag the base with any body part as long as you are holding and controlling the ball at the time the base is tagged.
