Stupid.

Why is the PU walking toward the mound?

Why is the catcher trying to hold on to the PU?

You gotta know the situation before you pull the trigger like that. Gotta.

From my understanding from a friend...

Threw one high and tight to the batter before for ball 4.

PU came around to clean up the plate and had a few words for F2.

Next pitch found the batter.

Seems like pretty clear intent to me... something was up. 3-0 game in the 7th with Yanks pitcher cruising and Rivera waiting if it was close. A-Rod hit game winner the night before. Yeah, something was up.

Good EJ, again. Just a bunch of McCarver's that want to question it.

And fortunately, Joyce did.

What are you all arguing about? It's NY vs Boston! It's normal for them to throw at each other and it is normal to get at least one ejection per series.

I'm sure Jim Joyce just has no clue at all of what is going on...

I think he probably does.

I am just saying that throwing at a guy in the bottom of the 7th with one out and a runner on first when you are trailing 2-0 is a curious decision by the pitcher and/or Francona.
