I would not be surprised if it didn't happen more often. At that level you would expect the catch to be made 99.9% of the time. and of course the one time hurry your call is the one time he drops the ball. always expect the unexpected, except when you doze off and become the unexpected. It has happened to ALL of us.

For sure... It was just the first time I'd seen it happen in person to a MLB umpire!
