Shoelace Lengths

This should be easier than taking the strings off and measuring:

What's the lace length for New Balance 450 and 995?

It's an important topic. I've had to deal with laces that are too short, too long, and that require a fork to come undone if pulled too hard. Still looking for that perfect shoelace for my plate shoes.

However, some of those lace designs would look great on my 995's. Should I go with yellow/white or pink/white?

I bought 54" for my NB plate shoes. The factory ones were 53"...I couldn't find a 53"...those will do.

Count the number of eyes. Look on the back of shoe lace package. If you like them longer buy longer.

My only advice is to replace the laces on New Balance shoes as soon as you take them out of the box. Get some outdoor or sport laces (outdoor are stronger) and re-lace. The factory laces are horse ...

NB should be ashamed of the laces they put in those new shoes. It's like buying a Hummer and realizing it only has an AM radio!

It's America, right? Cheap is the order of the new millennium. It's more profitable to cut corners. Damn the consumer (sucker).
