3) is incorrect.

On a hit, the batter if not out is placed at what the plate umpires judges as the value of the hit -(could be a single, double, triple, or HR) WITH ERRORLESS PLAY then places the runners. Example - batter hits a gapper - fielder makes an error on the throw and all runners score. UIC values the hit as a double - batter goes to 2B, other runners only go a far as pushed by the batter, including home, scoring runs.

There is an exception. If with the bases loaded the ball is hit within the infield and the batter is safe at first and no outs are achieved, the runner on 3B is removed from the bases without scoring a run and the other runners move up a base.
