Congratulations.

I had our team's catcher in class last spring, and enjoyed talking baseball with him from time to time. Smart kid (F2 is always the smartest kid on the team, right?), and a good guy.

I'm glad they were playing out there. We had 14" of snow, and the campus is closed this morning for snow removal.

We still have high school fields that are unplayable, but WSU, with its artificial turf and great drainage, was in excellent shape. Originally when the turf was installed they kept dirt on the mound and at home. Last year they turfed around home. When working the plate there I can leave my brush in the car.

The local high school built their new turf field that way. I have not had the pleasure of working a game on a field like that, it must be a strange experience.
