"Jamborees", March 8.

First real HS pitch, 3:45 PM, March 13.

Unfortunately my surgery date is January 10. The first half of my season is in doubt.

The local HS association's first meeting of the year is January 20th. I'm still not sure if I will be able to work HS this year due to my work schedule. I guess there are youth games to tide me over.

My first game this year is on Monday, January 7. I dumped a coach in my first game last year which was on January 6, 2007. I thought it a sign that 2007 was going to be a bad year, but I only dumped 2 other coaches for reat of the 2007. Not bad.

The likelyhood of you returning this spring will depend on how much you put into your rehab. You need to do the rehab exercises 110%, even when you get sore or it hurts. At the same time, you can't rush yourself back into action when you're not ready. The question you should be asking your rehab doctor should be "what can i do next?" and not "what do i have to do now?" Rehab your a$$ off the time you're with the doctor, then ice ice baby when you get done.

Remember: being aggressive with your rehab is infinately better than babying it. I know from experience.

Good luck my man. I hope you make a full recovery in time to get some games in during the spring!

Had it a couple of days ago. They're going to operate anyway.
