I have spent the summer lurking on here but no able to find the motivation to get involved.
Have not been able to call a game since the end of last season, no camps, no men's league (no big loss there)...nothing.

Last night was our associations first meeting. I reluctantly dragged my arce down there still not sure if I was going to participate. That changed as soon as I saw my fellow officials from the last season. It sure was nice to be around something other than work.

Between Iraq, Afghanistan, Japan, Katrina, and Rita I have had a busy summer. Looking forward to alittle time off calling some games.

It will be another season of only getting to call for a few months. Get to go enjoy the Iraqi deset for a third time.

So anyway, stand by for my questions that are sure to follow.

Dudly

Hey! Good to hear from you!

Hopefully they'll have that sh!t cleaned out by the time you go back to the desert next year.

You were sent to hurricane duty? How did that go?

Hey Dan...didn't have to go down for the hurricanes. Sent some of my Marines and loaded some planes. The AAR's paint a dismal picture for the quality of life before and after.

How's your boy doing? Still with tracks?

Doing fine thanks, he's done.

Taking some time off, believe it or not he's in Italy.

When he gets back he's going back to school or I'll kick his @ss.

If he lets me

Good to hear...Glad he's safe and out now.

School is a good thing. Trying to finish mine up too. Got a bit longer then I will retire from this. Want to pad my retirement account a bit more.

If you're ever out San Diego way, bring your clubs and I'll bring the beer.
